A corporate exploration ship heads out to sea, in search of a mysterious island, full of wild animals for a theme park.  They encounter hundreds of natives, who worship a giant monster called "Gappa".  Well, the nosey scientists discover a Gappa egg, unhatched...and sure enough...it hatches and out pops the baby monster!  They cage up the critter, and ship it back to Japan to use as an attraction at a zoo (brilliant idea).  The Gappa mom & dad don't like it, and rise from the depths of the seas to destroy the island, and go to Japan in search of their baby monster.  In the process, of course, they destroy most of a major Japanese city and kill thousands of people. Will they find their precious baby Gappa ?  Will Japan survive?

In this show, Dr. Anomaly has discovered a love potion...a horrible invention. Capable of causing the mightiest of men to make terribly bad decisions.  Of course, Borloff pays no attention to the Doctor's warnings, and in a thirsty moment, gulps down the beastly beverage, as does the bizarre Spooky Demensia. The next thing ya know...she's pregnant!!!  She promptly lays an egg and they have a discussion as to who sits on the egg in the nest. Is it a boy or a girl? What'll its name be? What will it eat?   Borloff runs out to the store to get baby food, smokes, and some Band-Aids.....and returns to find the Monster Madhouse gang has done something horrible!!

It's Alive
(1969)
This movie is set in a rural mountain area, where a strange man keeps a bizarre, frightening monster in a cavern below his house.  He lures people into his lair, offering them a free tour of his "animal park". He then traps them and feeds people to his monstrous creature!

Borloff & the Madhouse gang loosely examine this film, and everyone's up for some more "monster fighting", strange dancing,  general ridiculousness, discussions about befriending monsters, and the debate about "What is a monster ?" ....

Nosferatu
(1922)
The infamous silent film by F.W. Murnau depicting the story of Bram Stokers "Dracula".  Filmed in Germany, using the many centuries old existing buildings & towns as their sets, the ancient castles are amazing. Dracula brings a young real estate agent to transylvania, to sign the deed for a new "pad" in town. He scares the crap out of Jonathan Harker, and sets sail in his coffin on a tall ship across the seas to civilization, where thousands of victims await the vampire's plan to take over the world. With plagued rats & bad intentions, he arrives in town in search of Harker's woman (you think a wealthy vampire could find his own gal)!! Everyone is mad about this, and of course Dr. Van Helsing will see to it that Dracula must be stopped.  He is stopped, by his own foolishness....he finds the girl, gets her alone....and then...dummy forgets that the sun will rise soon....duh!!!  The end. Vampires are easy to get rid of. Great film. Scary imaging.

Borloff thinks he's found documentary footage of Dracula and proudly display the film for everyone. The gang is anxiously awaiting Freaky Daddy's special delivery. Apparently in the hearse, he has a vintage casket containing special guest, Dracula himself!!! Apparently, Roxy Borloff has bought Dracula on eBay for 20 grand. We make do, and let him relax for a spell. President Sarcofiguy, the first African American president of Monster-Land, arrives and decides to do the swearing-in ceremony on Borloff's live TV broadcast!!

A Korean interpretation of the giant monster movies from the 1960's, "Yongary, Monster From The Deep" is very reminiscent of Godzilla, but, rather than an "underwater" monster, Yongary comes from deep within the Earth's core.  Wakened by nuclear weapons & space rocket tests, Yongray destroys a major city and anything in its path, tanks, planes, and rockets do no good against the giant.  Meanwhile, a small boy discovers the weakness of the monster, while it's dancing to rock and roll.  Can Yongary be defeated?

Monster Madhouse is joined by three new characters, Sasha (a possessed killer doll), Anna Mae (a girl from a cartoon world), and The Cap'n (a lobster clawed sea-farin' ghost ship captain).  The group examines and dismantles the movie tape to find all the good parts, and celebrates the end of the sausage party. Plus we mourn the loss of the monster, along with some escaped, wandering zombies.

Attack Of The Monsters
(1966)
Two hot Japanese space alien gals send their remote spaceship to Earth, hoping to lure in some humans for lunch.  They end up catching two mischievous boys and fly the ship back into space. The monster "Gamera" follows along trying to save the lads.  Gamera follows the ship to the strange planet and battles a giant knife-headed monster called "Guiron" for control of the situation.  Guiron is controlled by the alien gals for a while, but eventually the monster breaks free of its bondage and destroys their whole set up. Gamera vs. Guiron begins, the battle to save the earthlings and all mankind!!!!

This show was shot in the summertime, and it was sooo hot, that Borloff decides to give Sasha a swimming pool for her birthday!  She hates it at first, but, the whole gang joins in and makes a pool party happen!!  Echoing the movie, they decide to have some monster fighting underwater in the pool, joined by a few new faces The Sarge and Lucifer Graves. It's a monster battling riot!!

This movie was a kind of low budget response to "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and "Godzilla" in the late 1950's.  The mysterious underwater monster, constantly encountering divers and scientists, while guarding it's radioactive secret, rises from the depths to capsize boats and attack the humans.  It doesn't eat the people, though, only drowns them, is very mean to them, and burns 'em up with its radioactive presence!  The doctor that created the beast ends up destroying it, and himself!!

We're joined by monster expert and artist "Stephen Blickenstaff", famous for his cover art for "The Cramps" album.  He actually paints a lovely skeleton dude portrait live on the show!!  Jebediah Buzzard's many bar-room jokes fill the air with bad taste, as Borloff tries to keep things under control. Also joined by horror actress Loni Gary, Sasha & Roxy are all over the place, screaming and trying to assist the artist in his work.  It all ends as Buzzard blows up the studio and all the people in it, with his new invention.  Just like in the movie!

Godzilla Vs. Megalon
(1973)
Earthquakes rattle Japan, drain lakes and cause fear.  A pair of inventors and a small boy seem to have the key to the mysterious quakes. An underground kingdom of aliens, armed with terrible monsters, are set to take over the Earth's surface!  The humans have built a robot that is the only hope of reaching Godzilla, who is on Monster Island, to come and battle these giant monsters.  Megalon, joined by the monster "Gigan", almost destroy the Japanese army, but Godzilla arrives just in time!!  Then he is joined by the now gigantic robot to battle the monsters!
Giant against giant!!  The ultimate battle!!  Who will win??  Will the earth survive??

Borloff is ecstatic to have found this rare, public domain VHS version of this movie and has invited some new fiends to the madhouse to view this film. As the evening goes on, they bring in the band "Johnny 3-Legs" to entertain with some rap-rocking groove!!  Borloff soon realizes that the "ex-wife" has found him!!! Hannah Borloff shows up looking for money...and Borloff's hide!!  She's also brought a suprise..."Son of Borloff" arrives to meet his real poppa...OMG!!  It can't be real!!!  But it is!! "S.O.B." (Son of Borloff) immediately fits right in, and helps host this magnificent Godzilla classic!!!

Night Of The Living Dead
(1968)
"Night of the Living Dead" is the movie that started a zombie movie tidal wave that has never stopped rolling. It's thought that space radiation from a satellite has caused the dead to rise and hunt the living, for food! They eat their victims! A group of stranded & desperate strangers are gathered in an isolated farm house, surrounded by zombies, and then they try to escape as the living dead begin to quickly take over the world, and eat everyone!!!   Who will survive??

Borloff decides to air the original "Night of the Living Dead" movie and unintentionally creates a zombie outbreak outside of the TV station. The zombies eventually make their way inside and are quickly contained and taught tricks with zombie treats.  Now it's time for more monster fighting....zombies vs. Zillagod, as almost 20 zombies try to take down Madhouse's mascot monster. In time, we lock the zombies up in the mechanical room, and lock the door.
